2022 Beauty Trends I love and hate

What is a beauty trend? 

To set a beauty trend means to do something that becomes accepted or fashionable, and that a lot of other people copy. 

Some beauty trends fade away after some time, and then we collectively reminisce and make fun of them; other beauty trends become staples in many people's daily routines. One beauty trend that stuck with me was highlighting and contouring. Ever since this trend became a "thing," I've been contouring and highlighting the high points of my face ever since because it slims my face and makes me look like I'm glowing.

One of the current beauty trends that I am IN LOVE with, is graphic liner. 

Understandably, this trend is for people who are comfortable with liner-application and this requires a steady hand. But with practice and concentration, these looks are attainable for most anyone. I love this trend because it accents the eyes and brings a special touch to a makeup look. I'd wear any of these looks if I was going out for happy-hour, or dancing. Its a gorgeous look. 

Not all beauty trends stay around for the long run. There is a current beauty showcased by Kylie Jenner and other popular A-List celebrities.

While I understand new looks can be exciting to try; I feel this look washes people out and I wouldn't be surprised if the interest in bleached brows fades away over time.
