My Most-loved Makeup/Skincare Items

I know if you've found yourself on this blog, you might be interested in beauty items. One of the huge perks of being a beauty advisor at a well-loved beauty retailer is receiving the gratis/training product. Since I was able to assist in the grand-opening of the beauty store I work for, I was grateful to receive over $800 worth of training product. I don't know about you, but I can't afford to just go drop $800 in one pop at a beauty store. It felt like Christmas to me!

I thought I'd share with you some of the items I have tried, and fell in love with. I love these products enough to incorporate them into my daily skincare/makeup routine.

  • Fenty Skin Fat Water

This is a pore-refining toner serum. Its key ingredient is Niacinamide which is designed to target pores and helps visibly even your skin-tone. This toner serum feels so silky on my skin, and leaves my face feeling super moisturized before having to apply my moisturizer. I was so impressed with this product because I also noticed that my skin didn't react to me rubbing this on my face.. And I have very, very sensitive skin. Typically, rubbing anything on my face would make my skin temporarily blotchy. It significantly reduced the look of my pores which made the outcome of my makeup look more polished and clean.

  • Sunday Riley AutoCorrect Eye Cream

The tagline for this product is "Banish tired-looking eyes" and this is exactly what this product did for me. I am a mom... For those of you reading who have children (particularly, small children) I know you get it. I wake up early to start my day, oftentimes on little sleep from the night before. I just look so tired when I sit at my vanity to begin my makeup routine. This eye cream makes me look more alive and it is amazing.

  • Benefit's Bad Gal Bang Mascara

I received several popular mascaras in my training product, but this one has become an everyday staple for me. This mascara makes me feel like I'm wearing false lashes, it doesn't clump and fall off, it doesn't rub off, and it comes off easily with makeup remover. Two coats of this product makes my eyes look more awake.

  • One Size felt-tip Eyeliner

I've been a huge fan of the wings since I got into makeup over 10 years ago. I have almond-shaped eyes, so winged eyeliner makes my eyes wider and helps me look more awake. When I tried this liner, I noticed how easy it was to apply this product. The felt tip bends, and the product doesn't bleed which helps with maintaining a clean line for a sharp final look. The best part is that it stays on all day long until I decide to take it off.

  • Nars Blush in shade Orgasm

I'm typically not a huge blush girl. But this blush is so pretty. It has a soft pink color payoff with hints of coral as it shimmers in the light. When I tried on this blush, it brought so much life back into my face after applying my foundation (which can take the natural pink tones in your skin away). I highly recommend!

These are just a few of my daily products, but they are at the top of my list right now. Please be sure to follow me so I can fill you in on the latest must-haves at Sephora.

With love,

Kaitlin
