Best-Sellers and Must-haves of SEPHORA
Like I said in my previous post, I've worked in the beauty industry selling high-end skincare, haircare, fragrance and cosmetic products since 2014. When Kohls made their partnership with SEPHORA, it had to be one of the best decisions they've ever made. In the small town I live in, the closest SEPHORA is located over 3 hours away so many of us had to shop online if we wanted their sought-after products. Since there wasn't a Sephora close-by, I wasn't knowledgable in the common products they have flying off the shelf. Now that I work for them, I'm excited to share my list of products we can barely keep on the shelves because of popularity and high-demand.
1. Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter
What is it? Flawless filter by Charlotte Tilbury is a complexion booster that blurs, smooths, and illuminates for a real-life filter effect. How beautiful is this?! No more snapchat filters over all of your pictures. You can be a walking filter with this product. You wear this alone, under your foundation, mixed into your foundation, or simply apply it to the high points of your face for a beautiful glow.
This fragrance is highly sought-after and we sell through it like crazy! I found myself clocking in for my shift and spraying myself with this on many occasions. This scent reminds me of the beach. It is heavenly. This is the signature scent in the Sol de Janeiro collection
3. The Ordinary
The Ordinary skincare line has high-quality, evidence based ingredients. From my observation as a beauty advisor, this brand has a loyal client base who have made their products a permanent part of their daily skincare regimen. Besides the fact that this skincare line produces results, its also AFFORDABLE. Nothing in their entire line is priced over $45, and the product that is $45 is an anti-aging kit with multiple products from within their line. Most people think that they have to fork out a ton of money for high-quality skincare. The Ordinary line is both affordable and effective.
My expectations for Selena Gomez's line was not very high. But now I have to eat my own words... Because her entire cosmetic line is not only beautiful, but her shades are inclusive to most skin shades. Her liquid blush is highly-pigmented, her foundation feels light and provides great coverage, and her customers are raving with great reviews on her entire line.
